The Slough Junior Jets Academy LTP hockey program is here!
Our 6 weeks program is aimed to teach the fundamentals of hockey to children aged 4 to 14. This program is a great starting experience for boys/girls in this exciting sport. Ice hockey is one of the fastest sports in the world & is a great builder of character & fair play. The program structure is aimed at developing all the basic individual skills required to play. Skating, puck control, passing skills, shooting skills and small area games will all be worked on! All individuals will receive a basic evaluation report card at the end for 6 weeks program.
Our LTP programme is structured so that all participants gain self-confidence within their ability and have an understanding of the skills required to improve their hockey & skating skills. All participants must be able to skate at a reasonable level (balance on ice, forward/backward movement, beginning crossovers). Participants will also require some protective equipment for the head, elbow, hands and legs. They will also need skates and a stick. We do have a small supply of these items, but they are on a first come, first use basis.
