Three more signs before Jets first game

Slough Jets are pleased to announce the following players who will ice tomorrow evening in Oxford when the Jets face Bristol Pitbulls.

First signing is Stuart Spence, who has signed for Jets from last year’s London Racers (Haringey). Stuart comes with some experience and has played in both D man and as a forward over his expansive hockey career. His senior playing career started up in Shropshire with the Telford Tigers before he moved down to the South where he has ice for Lee Valley Lion and the London Racers over the last 5 years.

Our second signing for this season is the return of Craig Cowell to the Hanger. Craig is a forward who is not frightened to protect his team. On signing Craig commented, “I am looking forward to playing alongside the team and the fans were great last season getting behind the team week in and week out. I am also looking forward to continue to develop and progress under the leadership of Smital."

Our final signing on this announcement is Connor Barbor, a forward who start his hockey career in Slough junior system before moving up to Sheffield to continue his education and playing for Sheffield Bears, a university team.

Lukas Smital had this to say on the last three signings before the season starts, “I have signed these three players who are fully committed to play for the team this season and they bring depth and 100% commitment to the team and look forward to coaching and playing alongside them.”
